ABOUT ME
Hello and welcome to Pathway2Wellbeing, my name is Marcia Edwards, I spent over 25 years as an IT professional before re-training as a complementary therapist. My main reason for
re-training was because of my children especially my son who had a lot of health issues for the first 18 months of his life. After looking on the internet for something I could use with my children which did not involve any additional medication, I was drawn to Reflexology. I qualified with a diploma in Reflexology from the International Institute of Reflexology in 2013.
In 2015 I became the first reflexologist in Scotland to qualify as a Functional Reflex Therapist and now run workshops for various groups of people teaching them a relaxation routine that they can use for themselves, family and friends.
In 2016 I qualified as a Limbic Reflex Therapist, a specialised form of Reflexology called Limbic Reflexology and from 2017, I have also worked as a Kinetic Chain Release Practitioner.
From August 2018 to December 2019 I worked as the "Champions of Well-being" Programme for Saheliya a specialist mental health and well-being support charity.
In July 2020 I completed my Mental Health First Aid Instructor training with Nuco Training
