About Pathway2Wellbeing

Meet The Founder

My name is Marcia Edwards

With over 25 years of experience in the corporate world and a strong passion for holistic health, I transitioned from IT to complementary therapy to make a meaningful impact on people's lives. My journey began with a personal quest to find non-medicinal ways to support my children’s health, which led me to discover the transformative power of Reflexology.

My Journey and Expertise

Specializing in Chronic Pain and Fibromyalgia

My interest in chronic pain, particularly Fibromyalgia, deepened in 2016 while I was completing my training in Limbic Reflexology. Working with a client who had Fibromyalgia inspired me to return to university in 2018 to pursue a Master of Research (MRes) degree at Glasgow Caledonian University. I graduated in January 2021, with my research focusing on "Participant Experiences of Limbic Reflexology for Fibromyalgia: An Interpretative Phenomenological Analysis." I am currently focused on a proof-of-concept study exploring the effects of Limbic Reflexology on Fibromyalgia symptoms.

Combining Knowledge with a Passion for Teaching

In 2018, my passion for teaching was reignited while working for a specialist mental health and wellbeing organization as their mental health and wellbeing trainer/coordinator. This role led to my qualification as a First Aid for Mental Health Instructor in 2020, allowing me to combine my knowledge with my love for educating others.
